Batman vs Superman

Will having two main superheroes ruin a movie or make it better? Will changing the actor of who plays batman ruin the movie or make it better? We will not know for sure until the movie comes out but I have a few ideas. Batman and Superman two of the most popular superheroes, now in one movie together called batman vs superman. This movie is going to be a prequel to a superman movie called man of steel. Critics rated man of steel a 5.5 out of 10. The audience rated the movie 7.6 out of 10. The critics rated the dark knight rises witch is a Batman movie an 8.8 out of 10. The audience rated it a 9 out of 10. This shows that critics and the audience liked the batman movie more than the superman movie. Since this movie is a prequel to man of steel having batman in it may boost the superman movies ratings. If this was a prequel to the batman movie then it may have made the ratings go down. If I had to take a guess the critics would give the new movie a 6.5 out of 10 because that rate is in between there rate for man of steel and the dark knight rises. I then asked someone named Leo who loves superheroes and movies, who he likes better batman or superman and he voted for batman. He said that the movies are a lot better because he likes how the batman movies are more realistic than superman. Superman is being played by Henry Cavill and Batman is being played by Ben Affleck. Originally Batman was going to be played by Christian Bale but he chose not to because he did not want to have two superheroes. After accepting this role Ben got a lot of criticism because people thought that changing the actor could ruin the movie. Ben responded to all the hate; he said, "I'm a big boy. If I can handle an Emmy Snub, I can handle anything." He also said, "The new Batman is to redefine him in a way that doesn't compete with Bale and Christopher Nolan's Batman." I like all the stuff that he stated because it shows how determined he is to make this movie good so I think that changing the actor will make the movie better. Even though Christan Bale is not in the movie he still thinks that it is a good idea to have Ben as batman. Christan saids, "I wish him all the best. He's a very experienced actor and filmmaker and he'll make it his own." I then asked Leo what he thinks about changing the actor and he said, "For me, changing the actor of batman will depend on what the new actor brings to the table. Michael Keaton will still always be Batman to me, I believe he did an excellent job with the character. Ben is also an amazing actor so I say we give him a chance ." Leo had some good points about actors before the dark knight even came out. Christian Bale, he was tremendous as the new Batman and everyone loved him as batman until he quit. Val Kilmer and George Clooney, not quite the best Batman character portrayals, but they did their best and they tried hard. I think the general public and comic fans had the reaction they did about Ben Affleck being chosen as the new Batman because they were not happy with his portrayal of the superhero Daredevil, his Boston accent, and his ability to direct, over acting. But let's not forget how everyone reacted to Heath Ledger being cast as The Joker. The internet had the same reaction that Ben Affleck is receiving, and look how Ledgers The Joker turned out, simply amazing. Only time will tell whether or not Ben Affleck will make a good Batman. Thus, Ben playing batman may make the movie better. I then ask my cousin Ryan if he like the batman or superman movies better and he said, "I like the batman movies better and I think it will be interesting having them in a movie with each other." I asked my friend Alex if he likes the Batman or Superman movies better and he said, "Batman movies are better because it's better acting and they cast better actors whereas superman casts unknown actors and tries to make them famous." Then I asked him if he thinks they will be good in a movie together and he said, "It might end bad because there powers are so different and I don't know how they are going to make them blend." Ryan said, "Superman is invincible where superman can die easier, so they might not be good in a movie together." Then I asked Leo and he had a different opinion he said, "It will make it better because having two main superheroes with two different backgrounds will add depth to the story." I agree with Leo's opinion. Superman, being born on an alien planet with god-like powers (flight, strength, heat vision, etc) and raised in the Midwest believes in fighting for truth, justice, and the American way. Batman has no super powers, uses no guns, he's just a normal human being that vowed to become the greatest crime fighter. He combines great detective skills, theatricality, and great fighting skills to strike fear into his enemies. Superman belongs with the everyday people where Batman prefers to stay in the shadows and dark streets. Thus having two superheroes may ruin the movie or make it amazing.
